Text size:

When clothes have stubborn stains, yellowing, dye transfer or noticeable odors, you can decide, based on their actual condition, whether to add a specific treatment on top of your regular cleaning service.

EN Laundry offers the special treatment options below for different stains and care needs. The method used depends on the care label, material, color and current condition of each garment; not every item is suitable for the same stain removal or finishing method.

Special Treatment Options

1. No Add-On

Your item is cleaned according to the cleaning service you originally chose, without adding any of the special treatments on this page. If you're not sure whether your item needs special treatment, you can send us photos first for advice. There's no need to work out the type of stain yourself.

2. Multiple Gray Patches (Soil Redeposition) Treatment

For gray patches, gray spots and uneven dullness that appear in one or several areas of a garment, we assess a more intensive cleaning method. Before treatment, we first check the marks and the condition of the fabric, and we do not automatically assume that every gray spot is soil redeposition. Please also tell us whether the garment had been washed or treated with any stain remover before the gray spots appeared.

3. Yellowing and Yellow Stain Treatment

For overall yellowing, or local yellow stains on areas such as collars, cuffs and underarms, we assess how to remove the yellowing based on the material and color. Stains left for a long time can turn into discoloration that is harder to remove, so the goal of treatment is to reduce yellow stains; we cannot promise a like-new white.

4. Mildew and Heavy Soiling Treatment

For garments with mildew spots, a noticeable musty smell, or widespread dirt built up over a long time. Before treatment, we assess how far the soiling extends and the overall integrity of the garment, then confirm which cleaning methods can be used. If the garment is already damaged or the material shows obvious problems, please tell us when you send it in.

5. Heavy Oil, Motor Oil and Black Grime Treatment

For obvious oil stains, motor oil and stuck-on black grime, we assess spot stain removal and more intensive cleaning. When you send the item in, please tell us as much as you can about where the oil came from, how long ago it got on the garment, and whether any other cleaners have been used, so we can decide how to treat it.

6. Red Wine and Soy Sauce Treatment

For local stains from spilled food or drinks such as red wine and soy sauce, we assess targeted stain removal. Please point out exactly where the stains are and tell us whether the item has already been washed, soaked or tumble-dried, so we know what has happened to the stain so far.

7. Blood Stain Treatment

For fresh or old blood stains, we assess treatment based on the fabric and the current state of the stain. Before sending the item in, please avoid applying high heat (such as drying or ironing) to the stained area, and tell us whether bleach or any other stain remover has been used; high heat can make some stains harder to remove.

8. Vomit Stain Treatment

For stains and odors caused by vomit, we assess a more intensive cleaning method. Before sending the item in, please contact the shop first and tell us how large the affected area is, what type of garment it is, and whether any solid residue remains, so we can confirm how to handle pickup and treatment.

9. Lipstick, Ballpoint Pen and Ink Treatment

For local color stains such as lipstick marks, ballpoint pen marks and ink, we assess treatment based on the source of the stain and the fabric. Some inks or color stains may not come out completely without affecting the original fabric and color, so we first confirm how much can be treated.

10. Pet Urine Stain and Odor Treatment

For stains and odors caused by pet urine, we assess how much the outer fabric, lining and filling have been affected. The aim of treatment is to reduce urine stains and odors. Please tell us where the soiling is, when it happened, and whether you have used any deodorizing or cleaning products yourself.

11. Antibacterial and Deodorizing Treatment

For odor problems such as sweat smells or mustiness, we assess more intensive cleaning and deodorizing methods. If you need antibacterial treatment, the suitability of the garment material and the products used must be confirmed separately; any description of these functions is based on the products actually used, the treatment conditions and the related test data.

12. Anti-Dust Mite and Antibacterial Treatment

An option to consider for clothes and bedding that need anti-dust mite or antibacterial care. Before treatment, we need to confirm which materials it suits and the treatment conditions. The effects, and the conditions for keeping them after washing, should be confirmed according to the instructions and test data of the products actually used. We do not promise complete dust mite removal or permanent effects.

13. Dye Transfer / Color Bleeding Treatment

For color picked up from other garments or parts, we assess how to remove the transferred dye. Treatment aims to reduce the transferred color while protecting the garment's original colors. This option is an assessment for removing transferred dye and does not include re-dyeing or color touch-up services.

14. Re-Dyeing / Color Touch-Up

For fading, local color loss, uneven color, or if you want to change a garment's color, we assess local touch-up or dyeing the whole garment. The area that can be treated, the target color and the expected look need to be confirmed case by case. We cannot promise an exact match with the original factory color, and this service does not include repairing damaged fabric.

15. Water-Repellent Finish

For garments suitable for this finish, we assess adding or restoring water repellency on the fabric surface, so that water droplets spread out and soak in less. Water-repellent is not the same as waterproof. A regular garment should not be treated as a waterproof one, and the effect gradually wears off with wear, friction and washing.

16. Special Treatment for Garments with Leather Parts

For garments with leather or suede panels, leather piping or leather trim. Before treatment, we assess the main fabric, the leather parts and the overall structure of the garment together, then confirm the care method. This is a special material requirement, not a regular stain treatment add-on, so please tell us about it when you send the item in.

Before You Add a Treatment

Special treatment does not mean every stain will come out completely, nor that the garment will definitely return to its original condition. Results depend on factors such as the type of stain, how long it has been there, the fabric and the dye, and some stains may not come out completely without putting the garment at risk.

When you send items in, please tell us as much as you can about the source of the stain, when it happened, and any detergent, bleach or treatment used before. If there are areas you are especially concerned about, please point them out in advance so we can assess them and discuss them with you.

Not Sure Which Option to Choose?

Send us a photo of the whole garment, a close-up of the stain and a photo of the care label via LINE, with a short description of its condition, and EN Laundry will help you work out which treatment fits.
