How Long Does Shoe Cleaning Take?

• Sneakers and casual shoes for everyday wear take about 5-7 working days.
• If you need them sooner, we also offer an express service, with shoes ready in as little as 3 days.
• (Express service has a small extra fee, since your shoes are handled first.)

Our Shoe Cleaning Process

We treat every pair individually and choose the cleaning method that suits it:

Step 1: Condition and Material Check

• We decide how to clean based on the type of shoe (canvas, leather, mesh, suede, etc.) and how dirty it is
• For special materials we give tailored advice or switch to dry cleaning
• Like a doctor, we first find out what the problem is, then choose the right treatment!

Step 2: Pre-treatment and Hand Scrubbing

• Spot cleaning with active-oxygen enzymes and a neutral degreaser
• Hand cleaning of the seams on the upper and the dirt on the soles
• The corners machines can't reach, we scrub clean by hand, bit by bit!

Step 3: Sanitizing and Deodorizing

• A high-temperature sanitizing process throughout, reaching deep into the fibers to remove odors and bacteria
• We don't just clean the surface: the bacteria and odors you can't see go bye-bye too!

Step 4: Low-Heat Drying and Reshaping

• Special low-heat drying settings help keep the shoe's original look and shape as much as possible
• While keeping them comfortable and structured
• This takes skill! If the temperature isn't controlled well, shoes can warp or shrink.

Step 5: Packing and Return

• Cleaned and neatly packed, ready to take you on your next journey!

Q: What kinds of shoes can you clean?

A: Regular sneakers, canvas shoes, fabric shoes and running shoes can all be cleaned.
For leather, suede and other special materials, we will recommend dry cleaning or hand cleaning depending on their condition.

A: We use low-heat drying and shape-keeping methods throughout, so your shoes stay as firm and well-shaped as possible after cleaning.

A: We generally recommend cleaning them every 1-2 months.
