Heavy Ballpoint Pen Stain From a Pen Left in a Pocket

Most online tutorials deal with fairly light ballpoint pen stains, like a stray pen stroke.

But the pen stains people actually bring in tend to be much more serious.

On this garment, the customer had left a pen in the pocket, and so much ink leaked out that it stained the area below and the front of the chest.

It took some time. After a few washes, we decided we wanted to do an even better job, so we washed it several more times. In the end we were lucky: there were no faded or bleached-white marks.
