You sleep on your pillow every night, so mold on it is a real problem and can seriously affect your airways.

The pillow in these photos probably wasn't a very old case, so it looked good after treatment. But that isn't always possible. Yellowing that has set in over many, many years may not wash out this nicely.

The photos show mildew on only one side, but both sides actually had it; we just didn't photograph the other side.
