Coffee Stain on the Lining of a Synthetic Leather Bag

This was the first time we'd received a bag that needed treatment because coffee had spilled inside it.

To begin with, coffee stains are usually not easy to remove.

Online tutorials usually demonstrate on white clothes. For colored items, it is still safer to send them for cleaning, or to make sure you know the material first and test on an inconspicuous spot to see whether it fades before you try.

The outside of this bag is synthetic leather. If it is treated poorly, the surface can easily oxidize and lose color.

So we lifted the color slowly, keeping the cleaning agent away from the synthetic leather as much as possible, and let the stain fade gradually over several rounds of treatment.

In the end we were fairly lucky, and the result looks pretty good.
