Unknown Spots on a Garment Stored in the Closet

This case was a bit unusual. When the customer dropped it off, they told us the garment had been in the closet for a long time and looked like this when they took it out.

We asked whether a dehumidifier pack or desiccant had been stored with it, and the customer said no. If that wasn't the cause, we assumed it was probably old yellowing or an oil stain.

But the methods we use for those kinds of stains didn't work either.

Fortunately, in the end we still removed about 80% of it. At least there's no longer such an obvious mark on the left side when it's worn out.

We managed to save a good piece of clothing.
