Children's School Backpacks: Hand-Washed, Photos Unretouched

Children's school backpacks are usually cleaned by hand, so the price goes up along with the minimum wage.

We only raised ours from NT$250-350 to the current NT$500 in the middle of this year.

Some others in the trade thought we were undercutting them on price. That really wasn't our intention. We simply didn't know the going rate in the industry.

Every day, we're either washing clothes, researching fabrics or writing code.

The photos aren't retouched; we take them straight. We worry customers otherwise wouldn't know how dirty or worn the backpacks they sent in were. After all, nobody spends their days staring at the backpack they carry, looking for tears.

We hand-wash basically all backpacks, so there's very little wear caused by machines.
