Jeans: Unknown Paint Removed Without Fading the Denim

Background

These jeans were stained with some kind of paint, and nobody knew what type it was. The customer had tried all sorts of detergents, but nothing made any difference.

At first we were stumped too, because the paint was in quite a few places, and on denim. We had to remove it safely while making sure the color of the jeans stayed the same. These jeans taught me a new method, so they're worth remembering.

This was no ordinary paint. Even ballpoint pen ink reacts to certain treatment agents, but this didn't respond to anything at first. (A note for fellow cleaners ^^")
