Cleaning Multiple Oil Stains on a Heat-Bonded Down Jacket
There are lots of different methods online, but check whether they are demonstrated on white clothes.
The scary part about this one is that it is a heat-bonded (seam-sealed) down jacket. Besides wearing out with age, the bonding can also fail quickly if the wrong treatment is used.
Some tutorials don't actually work for colored clothes, and some fabrics aren't suitable for them either. We recommend asking for help first.
After we cleaned the oil stains, the natural oils in the down were not stripped, so the jacket was still nice and puffy after washing.
