Item description
Luxury Down Outerwear | Professional Assessment and Care
We Handle This Category Differently, and the Reason Isn't Technique
Our position on regular down jackets is clear: most care labels recommend dry cleaning, but dry-cleaning solvent doesn't remove the sweat stains and odors in the cuffs and collar, doesn't reach the down inside, and strips the water-repellent finish from the shell fabric.
The same physics applies to luxury down jackets, but with one more factor you need to know about: the brand's warranty terms.
Some high-end brands explicitly require cleaning by a reputable dry cleaner and prohibit machine washing, stating that machine washing voids the warranty; detachable fur collars must be removed before dry cleaning.
In other words, for some brands, choosing wet cleaning may in itself affect your warranty rights, regardless of how well the garment is cleaned.
So Our Approach Is: Assess First, Explain, Then You Decide
We never choose a cleaning method without your knowledge. Here is how intake works:
1. Identification and records
We confirm the brand, model, season, care-label symbols and fill label, and photograph the whole garment from multiple angles, including existing flaws, loose seams, stains and the condition of any fur collar.
2. Warranty check
We compare it with the brand's current official care terms and read the care-label symbols: a P or F in a circle means it can be dry cleaned; a W in a circle means it can be professionally wet cleaned.
3. Recommendation and risk explanation
We tell you the recommended method, the expected results, any possible effect on the warranty, and what can't be achieved.
4. We start only after you confirm
Two Approaches
Route A: Professional Wet Cleaning
For care labels showing W, or if you choose it after understanding the warranty impact.
Cleans better: it actually removes sweat stains, skin oils and odors. The process is the same as our regular down care, but the whole job is done one garment at a time by a dedicated staff member:
- The collar and cuffs, the dirtiest areas, are scrubbed with a dedicated detergent.
- Washed alone in the drum, at low temperature, on a long, gentle cycle.
- Rinsed several times until no residue remains; this is the key to getting the loft back.
- Spun at medium speed (high speed makes the down clump; low speed leaves too much water).
- During drying, taken out every 20–30 minutes so the down can be pushed apart and patted along every baffle.
- Detachable fur collars are always removed and handled separately.
Route B: Dry Cleaning plus Water-Based Spot Treatment
For care labels without W, or if you choose to keep your warranty intact.
Handled in a hydrocarbon solvent (F) system, which is gentler on fibers. We add a water-based pre-treatment on the collar, cuffs and pocket edges, to make up for dry cleaning's weakness with water-soluble stains.
We will be honest: this route cleans less thoroughly than Route A. The down inside can't be fully cleaned, and deep-set odors may not be completely removed. This is a limit of the method itself, not a question of workmanship.
With both routes, we check the DWR (durable water repellent) finish and quote for reapplying it when needed.
What We Don't Do
- We don't decide the cleaning method without your confirmation.
- We don't wash it in the same drum as other garments.
- We don't promise what we can't deliver. That includes promising that old, oxidized yellow stains won't come back once removed, fully restoring shell fabric that is already damaged, or vouching for any brand's warranty.
Before You Send It, Please Provide
- Proof of purchase or warranty documents (if you have them, they help us check the terms)
- Any known past cleaning history and incidents
- Your priority for the result: cleanliness first, or keeping the warranty intact
Be Sure to Tell Us About
- Real fur collars (the type, and whether it detaches)
- Leather panels, metal logos or specially coated shell fabric
- Existing tears, leaking down or loose seams
- Problems that appeared after another shop cleaned it

Read Before Ordering: Care Notes & TermsTap to expand
Thank you for trusting us. To make sure your clothes and valuables get proper care and to protect both sides, please read the following notes carefully before sending items for cleaning:
1. Please check before sending items (basis of our disclaimer)
Empty all pockets:Please check pockets carefully before handing over items. We are not responsible for storing or compensating for cash, IDs, jewelry, earphones, receipts or other valuables left behind. If we find anything, we will keep it safe and return it, but please check to avoid unnecessary disputes.
Tell us about existing flaws:If a garment already has tears, loose seams, dye stains, fading, loose buttons, heavy yellowing or moth holes, please tell the counter staff when you drop it off, or let us know on LINE.
Valuable or high-end items (e.g. Chanel/Hermès bags, high-end leather, tailored suits): we recommend our premium care service (Luxury Item Care). Please check the item's current condition together with our staff in store or discuss it online (e.g. leather wear, oxidized hardware), and have it noted on the cleaning ticket.
2. Cleaning and stain removal results (reasonable expectations)
About difficult stains:For sweat, blood, ink, juice, paint, old yellow stains or mildew, we do our best with professional enzymes and stain removers on the affected area. If a stain is very old, or the fibers have already deteriorated or taken on the color, we cannot promise it will come out completely.
Special materials:
- Unstable or non-colorfast dyes: if a garment's dye is not colorfast, it may fade slightly after cleaning.
- Coatings / PU faux leather / waterproof seam tape: these materials have a limited lifespan (usually 2–3 years) and may peel or lose seam tape during cleaning due to hydrolysis and aging. If peeling has already started, it will usually get worse after cleaning, so please keep this in mind.
3. Storage of uncollected items
Collect on time:When your items are ready, we will send you a text message. Please collect them with your claim ticket within 30 days of the notice, or contact us to arrange delivery.
Late storage fee:From day 31, a storage fee of NT$10–20 per item per day applies to uncollected items (up to 3 months).
Abandonment of ownership:Items not collected more than 6 months after the notice date are considered abandoned by the customer. We may recycle, donate or otherwise dispose of them to free up storage space, and the customer may not object or claim compensation.
4. Checking items at pickup and handling disputes
Check on the spot:When collecting, please check on the spot that the number of items and accessories (e.g. belts, fur collars, liners) are complete, and check the cleaning quality.
Re-cleaning window:If you find an item not fully clean or poorly pressed, bring it back to the shop with your receipt within 3 days of pickup (with our laundry tag still attached and unworn), and we will redo it free of charge.
5. Compensation for loss or damage
We carry liability insurance. If a garment is seriously damaged, deformed or lost due to improper cleaning on our part, compensation follows the Ministry of Economic Affairs' "Mandatory and Prohibited Provisions for Standard Laundry Service Contracts":
- Regular garments: compensation is a multiple of the item's cleaning price (usually capped at 5 to 20 times, depending on depreciation).
- Valuable items without a declared value: if the value was not declared in advance and the item did not go through our premium care process, total compensation is capped (e.g. no more than NT$5,000–10,000).
Notes on Special Services
1. Down comforters / large bedding
Please check the bedding's care label when you buy it. Some natural silk and pure wool comforters are dry clean only or must not be washed. We never vacuum-compress animal fibers, to avoid physical damage to fibers and feather quills (down itself can be compressed).
2. Pet items
For hygiene, please remove loose hair and waste from pet clothing and beds before sending them in. We wash pet items separately using pet-specific disinfectant and dedicated machines, so you can send them with peace of mind.
