Black Comes in Many Shades

Just as there are many kinds of white, there are many kinds of black.
We treated only the affected areas, without changing the bag's original feel and color, and kept dye off the stitching so the bag doesn't look fake.

Before Conditioning

We took one last photo before oiling and conditioning the leather. Overall, there's no visible color difference in natural light.

FAQ

Q: What should I do if my leather bag gets dirty?

A: If a wet wipe contains alcohol, never use it on a leather bag.
It will take the color right off.
On aniline or other absorbent leathers, it can even leave blotches of color.
We suggest professional cleaning, or just gently patting off the dust.
For leather that isn't absorbent, a leather conditioning oil can condition and clean at the same time, and it usually helps.
Lanolin, for example.
