Item description

Denim Jackets
When customers bring in a denim jacket, they usually worry: "Will the color wash out?" But in practice, what leads to complaints isn't overall fading; that is normal for indigo dye and part of why many people buy denim. The real problem is uneven fading: dye staining a white lining inside the collar, pocket edges turning pale, or dye transferring to other clothes in the same wash.
Denim Jacket Care
Denim's indigo dye is ring-dyed: the dye sits on the surface of the yarn and doesn't fully reach the core of the fiber. That is why denim develops your own wear patterns, and it also means any cleaning will remove some dye. We cannot, and do not promise to, keep a denim jacket from ever fading.
What we control is how evenly it fades and dye transfer:
- One item per machine, never washed with any light-colored clothes
- Washed inside out to reduce patchy fading from surface friction
- Low-temperature washing, because high heat speeds up dye loss
- Neutral detergent, with no alkaline or enzyme detergents, to avoid damaging both the cotton fibers and the dye
- Controlled spin and drying temperature: cotton fibers shrink with heat, which is the main reason a jacket "comes out a size smaller"
Denim usually needs care with the points below. That said, some of our customers send denim in every week with basically no problems; we just want you to know first:
- White or light-colored panels, linings or embroidery
- Leather patches (the brand patch at the back waist of most denim jackets is leather or synthetic leather, which hardens, curls or discolors in water)
- Raw / unwashed denim (it releases a lot of dye the first time it gets wet and must be cleaned completely separately)
- Distressing, frayed edges and patches (these may get bigger during washing)
- Rust marks from copper buttons or rivets
What We Don't Do
- No washing with other clothes
- No bleach or detergents with optical brighteners
- No high-heat drying
After Pickup
- We suggest hanging it in the shade to finish drying, as direct sunlight can cause uneven color
- When storing it, don't keep it pressed against light-colored clothes for long periods
Cotton and Padded Jackets: Careful Care
About "Shrinking After Washing"
During weaving and finishing, cotton fibers are stretched lengthwise. In water the fibers swell, the tension is released and they return to their natural size. This is called relaxation shrinkage. It is an inherent property of cotton and is most noticeable the first time the garment gets wet. If the jacket was not pre-shrunk, no cleaning method can fully prevent it. High heat makes the shrinkage worse and irreversible.
What we can control is keeping the shrinkage from getting worse:
- Low-temperature washing, to avoid further shrinkage caused by heat
- Neutral detergent, because cotton swells and changes in strong alkali and feels stiff afterward
- Low spin speed and low-heat drying: mechanical action and heat are the two things that speed up shrinkage
- Hang drying to set the shape when needed, instead of tumble drying
About Yellowing
Light-colored and white cotton jackets often show yellow spots after being stored for the season. Usually this isn't because they weren't cleaned properly, but because skin oil left in the fibers oxidizes and becomes visible. This yellowing can't be seen when the jacket is put away and only appears after several months, and it gets harder to treat the longer it is left.
So our advice is: always have it cleaned once before storing it for the season, and tell us at pickup how long you plan to store it, so we can strengthen the pre-treatment of areas with skin oil.
Please Tell Us at Pickup
- Non-pre-shrunk raw cotton, washed cotton or naturally dyed items
- Dark pure cotton (it releases a lot of dye and must be handled separately)
- Leather patches, leather panels or metal buttons
- Waxed cotton (cannot be washed or dry cleaned and needs specialist care)
- Areas with yellow spots, sweat stains or marks from long storage
- Items whose lining and outer fabric are different materials (different shrinkage rates cause puckering and distortion)
What We Don't Do
- No strong alkaline detergents
- No high-heat drying
- No detergents with optical brighteners on light-colored cotton to mask yellowing

Read Before Ordering: Care Notes & TermsTap to expand
Thank you for trusting us. To make sure your clothes and valuables get proper care and to protect both sides, please read the following notes carefully before sending items for cleaning:
1. Please check before sending items (basis of our disclaimer)
Empty all pockets:Please check pockets carefully before handing over items. We are not responsible for storing or compensating for cash, IDs, jewelry, earphones, receipts or other valuables left behind. If we find anything, we will keep it safe and return it, but please check to avoid unnecessary disputes.
Tell us about existing flaws:If a garment already has tears, loose seams, dye stains, fading, loose buttons, heavy yellowing or moth holes, please tell the counter staff when you drop it off, or let us know on LINE.
Valuable or high-end items (e.g. Chanel/Hermès bags, high-end leather, tailored suits): we recommend our premium care service (Luxury Item Care). Please check the item's current condition together with our staff in store or discuss it online (e.g. leather wear, oxidized hardware), and have it noted on the cleaning ticket.
2. Cleaning and stain removal results (reasonable expectations)
About difficult stains:For sweat, blood, ink, juice, paint, old yellow stains or mildew, we do our best with professional enzymes and stain removers on the affected area. If a stain is very old, or the fibers have already deteriorated or taken on the color, we cannot promise it will come out completely.
Special materials:
- Unstable or non-colorfast dyes: if a garment's dye is not colorfast, it may fade slightly after cleaning.
- Coatings / PU faux leather / waterproof seam tape: these materials have a limited lifespan (usually 2–3 years) and may peel or lose seam tape during cleaning due to hydrolysis and aging. If peeling has already started, it will usually get worse after cleaning, so please keep this in mind.
3. Storage of uncollected items
Collect on time:When your items are ready, we will send you a text message. Please collect them with your claim ticket within 30 days of the notice, or contact us to arrange delivery.
Late storage fee:From day 31, a storage fee of NT$10–20 per item per day applies to uncollected items (up to 3 months).
Abandonment of ownership:Items not collected more than 6 months after the notice date are considered abandoned by the customer. We may recycle, donate or otherwise dispose of them to free up storage space, and the customer may not object or claim compensation.
4. Checking items at pickup and handling disputes
Check on the spot:When collecting, please check on the spot that the number of items and accessories (e.g. belts, fur collars, liners) are complete, and check the cleaning quality.
Re-cleaning window:If you find an item not fully clean or poorly pressed, bring it back to the shop with your receipt within 3 days of pickup (with our laundry tag still attached and unworn), and we will redo it free of charge.
5. Compensation for loss or damage
We carry liability insurance. If a garment is seriously damaged, deformed or lost due to improper cleaning on our part, compensation follows the Ministry of Economic Affairs' "Mandatory and Prohibited Provisions for Standard Laundry Service Contracts":
- Regular garments: compensation is a multiple of the item's cleaning price (usually capped at 5 to 20 times, depending on depreciation).
- Valuable items without a declared value: if the value was not declared in advance and the item did not go through our premium care process, total compensation is capped (e.g. no more than NT$5,000–10,000).
Notes on Special Services
1. Down comforters / large bedding
Please check the bedding's care label when you buy it. Some natural silk and pure wool comforters are dry clean only or must not be washed. We never vacuum-compress animal fibers, to avoid physical damage to fibers and feather quills (down itself can be compressed).
2. Pet items
For hygiene, please remove loose hair and waste from pet clothing and beds before sending them in. We wash pet items separately using pet-specific disinfectant and dedicated machines, so you can send them with peace of mind.
